About

Built for the Ring

A Germany-based, direct-to-consumer automotive parts and support business, set up to solve one specific problem: getting the right part to the right driver, fast, in a place where the nearest motor factor is a long way from the nearest problem.

Mission

Reliable automotive products, excellent customer service and a straightforward purchasing experience, supported by professional business practices and legal compliance.

Vision

To become a recognised and trusted supplier of automotive parts and support services within Germany, by delivering quality products, dependable service and relationships that outlast a single order.

Why here

The busiest
stretch of road
in motorsport

The Nürburgring is one of the most recognised motorsport destinations in the world, drawing visitors from across Germany and internationally throughout the year. The 2026 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring alone attracted approximately 352,000 spectators over a single weekend.

Beyond the headline events there are tourist driving sessions, manufacturer testing, track days, club meetings and motorsport activity almost continuously, all of it generating demand for parts, consumables and equipment at short notice.

Germany has roughly 49.5 million registered passenger cars and a fleet that has grown around 24% since 2008. Alongside that, the German online automotive aftermarket is forecast to grow from around US$5.3 billion in 2021 to more than US$11.3 billion by 2028. Buying automotive parts through digital channels is now entirely normal, which is exactly the behaviour The Ring Guy is built around.

Who you are dealing with

Two people, clear accountability

The business operates as a two-person organisation. That keeps overheads low and decisions fast, and it means the person who answers your message is the person who owns the outcome.

Director

Strategic management of the business: financial management, supplier relationships, legal compliance and business development.

Operations & Customer Services Manager

Customer communications, order processing, operational administration, delivery coordination and maintaining service standards.

How we compete

  • Personal customer service, not a call queue
  • WhatsApp Business ordering
  • Fast response times
  • Local knowledge of the Nürburgring area
  • Flexible delivery or collection
  • Documented, repeatable processes

Rather than competing solely on price, the business competes on convenience, responsiveness and service quality.

Compliance

The unglamorous part

German and EU consumer law

The business operates under applicable German and European Union legislation covering consumer protection, distance selling and product safety.

GDPR from day one

We collect only what is needed to fulfil your order, never sell your personal data, and retain it only as long as legally required.

Documented procedures

A full Business Management System sits behind the service: order procedures, complaint handling, refunds, risk management and internal controls.

Card details never stored

Payment is taken through a secure payment link issued by a payment provider. The Ring Guy does not store customers' payment card details.
